Aggie Equestrian to Open New Horse Stalls at Equestrian Center

Las Cruces, N.M. New Mexico State head equestrian coach Andrea Hanson along with the entire Aggie equestrian team will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony on Saturday, May 3rd at 2:00 p.m. to open their new Horse Stalls.

 “This is a huge step forward for the program,” Hanson said. “This will allow us to bring in some top notch horses for the team! This barn improves our facilities tremendously and shows growth in our program.”

The barn is a 60-foot by 64-foot structure with ten horse stalls each measuring 12-foot by 24-foot. The barn will also be fully matted and will house the Aggie Equestrian team’s competition horses.

Also in attendance will be Director of Plan Giving Debbie Widger, Agricultural Experiment Station Dinus Briggs, OFS project Manager Greg Walke and the Director of Facility Planning Michael Rickenbaker.
