Aggies to Host Tip-Off Event Oct. 29

LAS CRUCES, N.M.-Before the 2009-10 season begins for the New Mexico State men’s basketball team, the Aggies are hosting a Sixth Man Club Tip-Off Event, Oct. 29 at the Pan American Center.
The banquet begins with a silent auction when doors open at 5:30 p.m. A hosted cocktail hour starts at 6 p.m. with introductions, dinner and program to follow. Event reservations for both corporate tables and individual tickets can be made by calling 575-646-1447.
Operating under the auspices of NM State athletics and the NM State Foundation, the Sixth Man Club raises funds to help cover costs for men’s basketball recruiting, travel, equipment and scholarships.
The Aggies open the 2009-10 season at Saint Mary’s, Nov. 13, before hosting New Mexico, Nov. 17, in Las Cruces.
