Class 4A All-State Volleyball Team Announced

The Class 4A All-State Volleyball Team has been announced and to no one’s surprise, Moriarty’s Kristin Valencia has been named Player of the Year for her performance as a Middle Hitter on the Lady Pintos state championship run.

Moriarty’s head coach Kim Bell has been named Coach of the Year.

Players were selected by Class 4A Volleyball coaches.

Also selected to the first team were Moriarty’s Brandi Valencia and Goddard’s Tiffany Gibson at the Outside Hitter’s position.

Roswell’s Chantale Riddle was named as first team Middle Hitter along with Valencia.

At the Defensive Specialist position, Kirtland’s Jerilyn Curtis and Alex Chiado from St. Pius were named for their outstanding play.

Jordan Russell form Moriarty and Goddard’s Catlin Yagow were named as the state’s top setters.
