Espanola Volleyball Coach Resigns

Santa Fe: After six years of making the 90-minute afternoon commute from Santa Fe's Piñon Elementary School to Española Valley High School and back, Sam Estrada finally said no to it.
He did it by tendering his resignation as the head volleyball coach at the high school last week to Española Valley athletic director Dave Fontaine. Estrada admitted it was not an easy decision to make, because he feels he still has a few years left as a volleyball coach. But the 55 round-trip miles he logged finally got to him.
