Los Alamos' Espinoza Signs With Zia Volleyball For 2008 Season

PORTALES, N.M.— Eastern New Mexico University volleyball coach Kim Falkehagen has announced that Vanessa Espinoza (DS, 5-5, Los Alamos, N.M./Los Alamos HS) has signed a National Letter of Intent to play for the Zias in the 2008 season.
Espinoza lettered all four years with the Hilltoppers, earning second team all-state and first team all-district honors as a senior. In 2007, she served as team co-captain and led LAHS to the District 2AAA championship. A versatile player, Espinoza also played the right side as a junior and setter/outside hitter as a sophomore.
